A Little Different by Design

If you’ve tried tallow skincare before, you might remember a grainy texture or a heavy, greasy feel. Those were exactly the things I set out to avoid when creating Still Waters.

I spent a lot of time getting the texture right—smooth, creamy, easy to scoop, and soft as it melts into your skin. It should absorb and dry down according to its purpose, without lingering on your skin longer than you want it to. How it feels should be part of what you love about using it.

And the botanical oils aren’t just “filler” there to soften the tallow. Each one has a purpose. Meadowfoam brings silky glide, jojoba helps soften and condition, and oat oil adds a comforting richness. In certain balms, I choose oils like rosehip and prickly pear for the nourishing qualities they bring. Each blend is chosen for the skin it’s meant to care for and the experience I want you to have.

My desire is that when you put on a Still Waters balm, returning to simple ingredients from God’s creation feels like gaining something precious. A moment of care. A treasured gift, created just for you by the One who made the world.

That’s the heart behind every jar. 🤍

Nourished by Nature, Rooted in Faith.
