Let’s talk about Shelter. 🤎

Shelter is the firmest balm in the Sabbath Collection. I crafted it with my husband in mind. Every winter, his hands become painfully dry and cracked, and we’ve never found anything that gives him the relief he’s looking for. He needs something nourishing with staying power.

That need shaped the way Shelter feels. It’s firm in the jar, so you’ll need to press your fingertip into it rather than scoop it out (a cosmetic spatula works well too). The warmth of your skin softens the balm as you massage it into your hands.

Let’s take a peek at Shelter as it goes on. You’ll see it in the jar, on my palm, freshly applied to my hands, three minutes later, and eight minutes later. It has a glossy shine at first, but that shine fades as the balm settles, and what remains is a protective layer you can still feel on your skin. That staying power is exactly why I made Shelter. 🤎

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1
