Why Beloved? Part Six — How to Use Beloved—and Why It Has Its Name
Beloved is a concentrated, water-free facial whip, so a little goes a long way. Start with a pea-sized amount for your face and neck. You can always add a little more where you want it.
Warm it between your fingertips, then take your time massaging it into your skin. Notice how it melts from a rich, creamy whip into a smooth cushion beneath your fingers. That cushion is intentional.
So many of us move through our days in such a hurry, and I wanted Beloved to invite you to slow down. Breathe in its clean scent, and enjoy the feeling of caring for your skin instead of rushing through one more step. If you’re used to a water-based facial cream, Beloved will feel different.
Its oils and butters leave skin feeling richly conditioned, and you may notice some shine. Sea buckthorn lends Beloved its warm golden color and contributes to the glow you see on your skin. Start small, give Beloved time to settle on your skin, and find the amount that feels lovely to you.
And while you’re taking that moment, I hope you’ll remember why I called it Beloved. Before all the things you do for everyone else, there is simply you— made in His image, known completely, and loved deeply by the One who created you. You are already known.
Already chosen. Beloved.
