Why Beloved? Part Three — The Precious Botanical Oils

Not every botanical oil is interchangeable. Each oil in Beloved was chosen for its unique fatty-acid profile, skin-conditioning qualities and contribution to the finished formula. These aren’t inexpensive filler oils added to make the ingredient list longer.

Each one has a purpose. PRICKLY PEAR SEED OIL Prickly Pear is one of the most precious oils used in facial skincare. Its seeds are tiny and contain very little oil, making the extraction process slow and the yield exceptionally small.
